I really like to play outside. It's so much fun to smell all the smells and watch all the wildlife. Of course, I also enjoy playing with toys. Who said tearing up toys and blankets isn't playing? I have such a blast doing that! I should mention that I have been known to swallow small pieces of the "prey" I rip apart. I'm not really trying to eat these things, but sometimes when I swallow, tiny pieces of my toy are still in my mouth. That's one of the reasons I need my own family - so they can supervise me to be sure I stay safe.
I am already crate trained and know how to sit on command. I have also been making great progress with my house training. I know that's important to humans. I do get startled when I hear a loud noise. Hey, what was that? Then I move in the opposite direction of the noise. I need to get as far away as possible from the danger.
Sometimes we go for rides in the car. I deal with it, but it does make me a bit anxious. It is just such a new experience being in something that moves so fast. Although I do think in time I could get used to it.
One of my favorite activities is snuggling with my humans. As a matter of fact, I sleep with my foster parents every night. I just love feeling so safe when my people embrace me. I consider cuddling a very important part of life. After a good night's sleep, I know it is time to get up and start the day, so I drape myself across my foster mom to let her know it's morning and time to rise and shine. It's good to wake people gently. During the day I like to fit in some naps between my play sessions. I am happy to just relax in a fluffy bed to recharge my battery.
